  1. Is it true that Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday in French? AND, does that mean we can eat whatever we want or something else?? I'll just pretend it's that and have some Mardi Gras cake! So, how many beads DO you have?? Hahaha!!

  2. Yes, Tiff....Mardi Gras does mean Fat Tuesday in French. It is a time of indulging in food in preparation for the upcoming season of Lent in the Roman Catholic Church. Lent is a time of fasting and preparation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter. That help?

As for my number of beads....lots and lots baby!! jj :)

  3. Thanks for schooling me, girl! I vaguely remembered it relating to Roman Catholicism...thanks for making it clear. I'm not Catholic but do participate in Lent for the discipline and to have another opportunity to grow in faith. Can you believe it will be here before we know it! WOW! Time is soaring by!
