T minus 3 hours and counting until the kickoff of Super Bowl XLIV…….
The Vaughn family of Who Dats looked the part this morning as we left for church and we joined a sanctuary chock full of black&gold fans. We ended Mass by singing the closing hymn…… ”When the Saints Go Marching In”!
Best wishes to my dear MckCruise friends, Todd and Jenny, and for Louisiana boy, Peyton Manning, for a good game; but we continue to chant…..
“Who Dat say dey gonna beat dem
Saints?! Who Dat?! Who Dat?!”
Cute pic! You all look smashing in your Saints colors!! Good luck today!
ReplyDeleteUm, Lori? You spelled "that" wrong.
ReplyDeleteOur choir director is from Indy. No saints songs for us :(
ReplyDeleteI must admit, as a diehard Colts fan, I was more than a little upset at the outcome, especially the dirty onside kick at the beginning of the 2nd half. However, out of all the teams in the NFL, I would have rather lost to the Saints than any other team. Congrats :) Hope you enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) the victory!
ReplyDeleteSO, I am still sad about my boys not winning, but i have to admit, it was bittersweet to my fellow boilermaker Drew Brees win. So happy for him- He gave us some amazing years at Purdue. Have fun celebrating :)
ReplyDeleteWe ended our Sunday service at church with the same song! And a little impromptu second line!
ReplyDeleteWHODAT!?!!!!!
