FINALLY

Do I dare to say that Spring has finally sprung? At least it appears that way in our neck of the woods!!

This weekend’s forecast: bright sunshine, 70degrees, 0% percent chance of rain, and kid-free for Daddy Buck and I!!

That’s right! This morning we embark on our {first ever} ‘sans kids’ weekend, thanks to my parents!

As I look back through the pictures, I can’t help but ponder the thought that any decent ~~mother~~ photographer wouldn’t ask their children to look at the camera with the sunlight glaring directly in their eyes! {That’s beside the point, right?!}

up close and personal

This fella had a fantastic {5th} birthday party last Sunday on what turned out to be the first day nice weather (68degrees and not a cloud in the sky, if you must know) that we’ve had in quite some time.

The highlight of the party was the animal exhibits that allowed the children to pet a boa constrictor snake, a baby alligator, a hedgehog, and a chinchilla and to view, up close and personal, a tarantula!

Following the party, we spent the remainder of the afternoon wandering through the zoo where we were treated to a, {once again} up close and personal, look at the elephants courtesy of the elephants themselves.
