This is not an unusual sight at our house. B-a-r and F-o LOVE water, LOVE to play in the water, LOVE to squirt each other with the water and so on.


We hope everyone is having a super Saturday. The unpredictablility of the weather in Louisiana is leaving us unsure of where our weekend will take us. It is sure to include lots of family fun since it is Daddy Buck's weekend off.

This had to be a picture from one of our first water playtimes last year. You will see Buck-a-roo, Frank-o, and two of their best friends, Jack and Drew, in the picture. Look closely and you can probably note blue lips and shivering considering it was early Spring.

11th picture

The picture above is my 11th picture from my September 2007 folder. From a photography standpoint, it isn't superb; but, I like it, nonetheless. It is a picture of both boys taken on my parent's back patio as we were there visiting for Labor Day weekend. Buck-a-roo was 2 1/2 and Frank-o was 15 months and still very hooked on the paci.

This picture was taken at our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Buck-a-roo won a Tootsie Roll playing an egg toss game and as you can see couldn't wait to eat it!

So, here's the 8th picture in my January folder from 2006....

It is a picture of Buck-a-roo when he was just 10 months old. This Adidas tracksuit was given to him by my brother, Uncle Jas. Buck-a-roo and Frank-o wore the tar out of it and it has since been passed to my nephew Brock whom I saw wearing it just recently. Gotta love hand-me-down children's clothing!!

After picking up Buck-a-roo from school yesterday and seeing how he was super clingy, whiny, and thirsty, I knew he must be getting sick. Sure enough, he had a miserable night sleeping and woke this morning with a low grade fever, green runny nose, and complaining that his right ear was hurting. I made an after-hours appointment to see the pediatrician this morning. Once again, sure enough, he has a raging sinus infection and ear infection. He is now on Omnicef and is currently napping, as is Frank-o. He should be feeling much better in 24 hours.

Seeing as they are both napping....I am off to fold a load of laundry and snooze on the couch for a bit :)

I remember the day well. It was the day that we got Frank-o his new "big boy" bed and he and all of his many, many stuffed animals were napping in it for the first time when I snapped this picture.
