Thanks to Tim at Fort Thompson, I have been given another blogging honor.....the I'm a Fan of Your Site award.
Somewhat significant seeing as our blog has been somewhat neglected over the past several weeks. I am struggling with finding blogging time since the change of time into daylight savings. We have had wonderful warm days and splendid seasonal evenings for outdoor playtime with my boys and that is what I have been doing as opposed to blogging. I decided that I never want to reminisce and think I missed something in my boys lives because of being on the computer. I created this blog for them as a way of documenting life....not depriving me of the little moments in their lives. Moderation. Balance. Good Times. That's what it's all about for me and amidst all of that, I will blog when I can.
Nonetheless, thanks Tim! and this past weekend went to the Strawberry Festival in Ponchatoula, Louisiana (first of many this summer....check), two crawfish boils (the firsts of many of the season.....check), and our neighborhood Easter egg hunt(first of many through next weekend....check). I hope to post pictures from all these events later this week (seeing as my camera is not even in my possession at the moment...I cannot download, edit, or post any pictures at the moment).
Have a great week and let's keep the MckFamily in our prayers as it looks to be a week of change and difficult decisions ahead for them.

I couldn't have said it better myself!!!!!!! I sometimes feel guilty for neglecting my blog, but that just shouldn't be. I'm so enjoying getting outside with my boys and making memories with them.
Still praying for the MckFamily.

Congrats on the award, and I know there will be many more fans in your future!
Love and Prayers,
Tim
P.S. I wish I could tell you that my spot was booked for the cruise, but Carey has year end close at work in January and February so she cant go, and I really dont want to pay double occupancy for just myself. So unless I can find a roomy, I will be out. :(
Congrats, my friend!
I know just what you mean about balancing time with the family. I've been having the same concerns lately. Yesterday after church, lunch and getting Caroline's Easter dress, we were outside the remainder of the day. Oh, except when we made homemade pretzels and had an inpromptu gathering of neighbors to enjoy them with. (Very easy, very fast recipe) I didn't realize til 8o'clock that my phone was still on vibrate from church. And I couldn't figure out how I had missed so many twitter updates. Being outside made me forget all about the blogging world.
The push to the end of school is rapidly approaching, like Easter, so everything is amplified right now. Although I did manage to post a few times last week, a couple were scheduled so I didn't spend that much time online.
I'm so behind blogging myself. I've still got to post an award I received more than 3 weeks ago. One day... I get to it... one day!
Have a great week,
Pam
