Last weekend we attended our {last} neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
Frank-o was really into the Easter egg hunt; and being one of the oldest in his 4&under category, he scored big and filled his bucket to overflowing capacity in no time.
However, he was not as enthusiastic about the Easter bunny itself; don’t let the smile in the picture fool you, he would only get within camera lens scope of the Easter bunny if his Dad joined him!
Not surprising is Frank-o’s hesitancy of the Easter Bunny (and Santa Claus for that matter), seeing as this picture is only Buck-a-roo’s second one with the Easter Bunny; his first being his very first Easter when he was only weeks old.
He was proud this year, as were Daddy Buck and I, of overcoming his fear of the costumed teenager Easter Bunny enough to join him in a picture all alone.
This Easter Sunday is a busy day for our family as it is our final day in our home where we have lived for the past 3 years. Today, an adventure begins as we embark on the building process of what we hope will be the home were our boys grow into teenagers and Daddy Buck and I can grow old together.
The symbolism of the day is ironic…….Easter represents new life. Today, we will engage in a new chapter of our lives that is sure to develop into a new life for our family.
Happy Easter to you and your family!
